Facade

by EpithetPoet   Jan 30, 2005

I see you and am intrigued
You act so hard and \'cool\'
Your body and face, divine
Girls think of you and drool

You have girls every night
With a girlfriend on the side
I\'ve tried to get over you
Lord knows I\'ve tried

The facade will fade
To show the real you
This is what I\'m hoping
And wishing you to do

Your 'gangsta' ways
Arent fooling anyone
You're a little rich boy
Let it go, the fad is done

Let people know the real you
Not this annoying shadow
Making me hate you so much
Following you everywhere you go

You're funny and kind
I know you are
It's your personality alone
That'll help you go far

Be the man
I care and adore
Not the boy
Making me feel like a wh**e

Be the man
Who makes me laugh
Not the boy
Who makes me feel less than half

Be the man
I gave myself to
Not the boy
Who wouldnt know what to do

Be the man i love...

Ah! A delightful outcry for a new arising facade---rather the demand for a new vogue and practice to this gentleman.

--That is if he could be categorized as such.

I really like this one. Its different in the beggining. Not that usual hatred for an outcry--rather a impression of "oh right...yes I am most intrigued with who you are...but..."

    Excellent.
