Lose the Love of my Life

Theresa always that one person you fall in love with.
That one person you think is the love of your life.
The one that’s there to make you happy,
or is there for you when you cry.

I found that person,
but then lost him too.
It hurts deep down inside.
Now what am I to do?

There no one else,
who’s as great as him.
I feel so lost,
my world is now dim.

How could I do that,
lose the love of my life?
I sit and think about my mistakes,
And all I can do is cry.

What makes people do such stupid things?
Saying the things they say,
or hurting the ones they love,
then you suddenly lose them one day.

That’s a question,
I don’t know the answer to.
Because I myself did that,
and then lost you.

Now I feel like there’s no point of living,
and I just want to die.
This is the feeling I have,
when I lose the love of my life.
