Alone

Wrote this one just then...Please comment =)

Today they found me, alone and broken on the floor
They say I was crying;
That a sea of blood was swallowing me whole.

They say I was like an angel with no wings
That I somehow had forgotten how to fly

Tomorrow will be the same.
I will fill the day with fake smiles and laughter,
Then retreat home and again dig into my skin.

Later, I will cry.
I will regret breaking and brusing my body;
Yet I will want to do it again.

Then guilt and anger will slowly creep in
And I will slowly begin to hate myself more.

In the end, they will find me.
I will be alone, broken and crying on the floor.
A sea of red blood will have drowned me.
My body will be limp and lifeless, much like I have been on the inside.
That day I won't have covered up my secrets with smiles and happiness,
I will have finally let the world see me.

But by that day,
No one will care.
