She lives each day on the playground
daddys drinking at home
she comes in dirty, he gives her a bath
he cant leave her alone

she lives each day on a pack of reds
has since she turned 15
she hoping he wont come in her room tonight
and take away her dreams

she lives eachday on the streets
and on a few lines of coke
she left her dad only a year ago
she's already gone broke

she lives each day in rehab
her nightmares of him still come
shes almost over it, but the inner fear
never will be done
