In Our Hearts- Lynden's Poem

*This was for a little baby boy who died in his crib. I think he was about 7 months old. I wrote this for his cousin, Melissa.

Even though I'm gone,
It's safe up here you see?
Because I know in my heart,
God will take care of me.
My life was cut short,
But that's ok.
Because I know in my heart,
You loved me anyway.
I miss you Mom and Dad,
I loved you through and through.
And in your heart you know,
I loved both of you too.
I know this is really hard,
To try and let me go.
And I know in my heart,
You won't let your true feelings show.
So, don't worry about me Mom,
It's safe up here you see?
Because you know in your heart,
God will take care of me.
