Glass Jar

by Hidden Meaning   Jan 31, 2005

Screaming repeating again over and over,
Eating away from the inside,
Chewing on my flesh with no remorse
It never stops it never ends

Silently I close my eyes
Listening to the words that repeat inside
Churning making me sick
As tears fall so often from my heart within my eyes

I'm so scared of actions you inflicted
Frightened to the place where i stand alone
Alone but not free just on my own
No place to hide nowhere to turn

You hear my words but don't listen,
you look at my wounds but don't see.
You turn the shame that I hide,
the blackened darkness left to lie to hope that you might find.

I never bore the sight of them,
once seen I'm like an open book never closed and never rewritten.
I hoped for something I never had
I wished for something that would never arrive.

So I stand and sit in a world of my own,
A place where I'll never be content
Always feeling this way always alone and left to rot.
