Tooth Fairy

by HJ   Jan 31, 2005

All of this is going to make you freak. So prepare yourself before I speak.

Somewhere deep amid the scenic solitude. All alone a dark crawling shape intrude.

He has abilities to invade your mind as you sleep. Corrupting them with lies and deceit.

Twisted lips, his face without expression, so fair. Bright red gums, iron-gray hair.

Wallowing above you for a while. Showing his sharp white teeth, in a crazy depraved smile.

Feeling a great pressure crushing down. The wind blows creepy shadows from all around.

Whispering words possessing your body now. Only evil taking place, unless you can wake-up somehow.

You stir, rain hailing against your window pane. Stiffness within your neck, was it real. Are you insane?

Morning arrives with it a diffusion of fear. Now you only see what your eyes want to see so clear.

Scared to fall asleep, you try to stay awake tonight. You know the touch of his hand can take your life.

Counting the hours until morn, but they go so slow. Drinking your coffee, your body shudders, you feel so low.

Sadly you cannot fight, its soon to come. His waiting, there really is nowhere else to run.

I wish I could tell you different, but there is nothing you can do. He senses your weakness, you are one of few.

Like open wounds that eventually fade away. He is the scar that remains, day after day.
