The Promise

You made me a promise
that you said would stay
But where is it now?
It's gone away

That promise ment alot to me
It would always be in my heart
But then you broke that promise
And everything fell apart!

I should of listen to my doubts
I should of known you lied
But now my heart's split into
As I start to cry.

I wanted the promise to last forever
but it didnt last long
And after you broke that promise
Everything felt all wrong!!
