Its times like these
that show who'll go far
that show who'll be there
that show who your real friends are
the hard times show
who are there and who are not
they show true friendship
and the ones who'll never be forgot
the friends who are there
through the mess and the bliss
are the best of all
and the ones I'll miss
there are friends who left
when the parties disappeared
and even through all this pain
my true friends have now appeared
the ones that stick by me
the ones who care
that would never hurt me
and will always be there
so i thank god
each and every night
for my real friends
and pray we'll always be tight
