Real Love

Do you know real love?

One way you know it’s there
Is in accepting love
Even when there is great distance
Between you and your lover
Without leaving that love
To fade away into nothing
To fade away
Into the cruel darkness of life

It’s hard to be far
And to keep our hearts apart
But if we keep our love alive
I’m sure our hearts will keep beating
Beating until the day they meet again
Beating until the end

I’ll be patient
I’ll be waiting
Until the day you come back to me
Until we can finally be together
And forget the time that’s left behind

I’ll only try to remember
Those sweet moments left behind
Those sweet days we where together
Those days of passion and love
Which we shared with hugs, kisses and caresses

I’ll remember how you cheered me up
Those times I was feeling down
When you gave me your shoulder
To cry on whenever I needed to
How you managed to make me smile
With those jokes you used to tell

I’ll be waiting in the darkness
Waiting for the sunrise
Waiting, for you
