Your Nightly Cries

by Bill   Feb 1, 2005

Full moon in the midnight sky,
warm tears that fill my eyes.
Thoughts of you that fill my mind,
your sweet lips that taste of wine.

The love we share from our hearts,
bound and tied when were apart.
Knightly quest I search for you,
soulful dreams of love so true.

Moonlight glistens on the water,
passion's flicker burning hotter.
Blue flame glows within your eyes,
pain I feel when you have cried.
The flame that flickers with each tear,
muffled sorrow that I hear.

In my dreams when we are apart,
emptiness grows within my heart.

Windswept agony where sorrow thrives,
Lonely journey of our lives.
Stuck with strangers at our sides,
when together we're both alive.
Sorrow flees and passions rise,
engulfed with pleasures lustful cries.

Heartbeats pounding breathless sighs,
After glow within your eyes.

Each dawn a long part of me that dies.
With the echoes of your nightly cries.
