Slayer

by Elizabeth Ann   Feb 1, 2005

Auth note: Inspired by Helladic Greece, with reference to the beautiful Helen of Troy.
***********************

How ever far this voyage takes me, your endearments hearkens to mine devotion as sworn Mycenae, I avow.

Sweet Helen cover me with yon shroud this man of war.
Minoan princess of peace, cloud these thoughts of my dissension…
My constant scene mine enemies amidst my return…

There a phantasm a frozen land my remains forth disaster…
For your fallen fathers my heart hath seized…
This dark age my remorse hath won this man you cannot love…

May murder’s din silence me while decay renders useless my rebirth, another named Slayer...
