Melody (persona poem)

by Cari   Feb 1, 2005

I raise my voice
For all to hear
Singing proudly
Bringing tears.

It hides behind my fathers smile
A simple cry
My mothers in denile
My whole life is nothing but a lie

My mothers death
Brought nothing but pain
I held my breath
As the cops took him away

I sat in the small room
My brother at my sides
Heading towards my doom
Another house of lies.

Melody is a girl from a V.C.Andrews serious.
