An End With No Warning

Who’d ever know that such a beautiful girl,
Would soon be lost from everyone’s world?
There’s nothing I can do now but just cry.
Letting every tear roll down my cheek as I say good bye.

Why did it have to end so soon with no warning?
If I could go back, I wouldn’t wake on that morning.
I remember hearing those three dreadful words.
“She passed away.”
Little did I know, she had one thing left to say.

I let my tears dry and I slowly began to read,
One word after another, my friend back is all I need.

“Don’t you worry, I am always by your side.
I’ll be here to guide you, there’s no need to hide.”

It hurts so much but I know I’ll be okay.
I have an angel guiding me through each and every day.
