Adopted Father

by Bethany   Feb 2, 2005

This poem is dedicated to my step-dads best friend. He was like a father to me, and without him I'm so lonely. He called me his adopter daughter and i called him my adopted daddy. RIP Ken Horn 1974-2005. You are so missed and loved...........

It was such a shock,
he was to young to die.
He was like father,
he hated when i cried.
He pushed me forward,
he just wanted me to succeed.
He loved his job,
he had his dream.
Without him here,
i feel so alone.
I know he's watching,
i know he's saying,
"Bethany keep your head up, wipe those tears, and kick ass."
But i want him back,
i need him here.
I miss his hugs,
and the sent of his Cologne.
But that's not going to happen,
in my dreams he'll always be.
So rest in peace my adopted daddy,
and know you're oh so loved.
