Depressed Me

I sit up
in the sky
watching this girl
pass by

i watch her
as she walks
she doesn't seem happy
when she talks

a smile appears
upon her face
but you can tell that she wants
to leave this place

when she gets home
she just breaks down
her tears flow down her face
soon hitting the ground

one broken heart
turned her this way
because of some words
one boy did say

he broke her heart
and walked away
he wanted a different girl
for a different day

i watch her cry
thinking of something to do
i bend down and whisper
"i'm sorry that i cant help you"

she cannot hear me
she doesn't know im here
i sometimes wish
i could stop her living in fear

i watched her as
she slowly died
for there was nothing i could do
i just sit there and cried

a letter she wrote
to let her family know
how the feelings of sadness
would not let her go

"the boy that broke
my fragile heart
he messed me up,
and tore my world apart

he used me
and tore me up inside
these feelings of sadness
i couldn't hide

as i write this my blood
is dropping to the ground
i'm sorry to everyone
when this note is found..."

see i died too that day
when this girl wanted to be free
cause this older girl
was the depressed side of me
