Every Time, Even The Last Time.

Everywhere she looks
She sees a broken life
Every time she feels
She reaches for her knife

Every time she cries
She can never stop it
Ever time she wakes
She feels like s h it

And everyone around her
Fails to see her pain
So everyone carries on
As if she felt the same

And every day is a little harder
Than the one before
And every day she says
She can't carry on anymore

Only today it seems
Everything has finally become too much
She slips from view
Completely out of touch

She's crying on her own
Swallowing pills and drink
Just wants to sleep forever
Doesn't want to feel or think

This is the end she says
She writes goodbye
In her own blood on the wall
She knows they'll never know why

Nobody notices she's gone
Nobody sees, they never did anyway
I wonder how everyone will feel
When they hear she killed herself today

She lies upstairs
While they're laughing with the TV
Eating ice cream, joking
Unaware, blind to her misery

And as she lets go
She hears a loud cheer
Downstairs they're having fun
Upstairs … her soul screams goodbye

But they don't hear.
