You're no longer here to put pretty Bows in my hair
We went for an afternoon ride that day
We were going to the park to play
That other car was going to fast
It hit us really hard
All I remember is seeing that
blast
My world turned dark all the sudden
I didn't know what to do
I couldn't move
And all I could think about was you
I heard loud noises and people all Arround I knew I was laying on the ground
I woke up in a big big building
With people all arround
I asked if you were alright
Daddy's smile turned to a frown
He said "baby mommy's not coming back"
Those words hurt so much
I could feel my world turn black
I didn't understand what he meant
But mommy now I do

I went to school for the first time today
I played with blocks
And met new friends today

today is my 10th birthday
