Teddy Bear

by Unknown2Thyself   Feb 2, 2005

Each day she'd come home,
tears streaming down her face.
They've hurt her again,
they rubbed her nose in her disgrace.

She'd close her door to the world,
and spill her secrets to her only friend.
The only one who can't talk back,
The one that will be with her till the end.

He sits there motionless,
with a joyful smirk upon his face.
Listening without a care,
her only comfort within this place.

He has been there each day,
wiped away her every tear.
He knew the horrors in her life,
he knew her every fear.

His mouth was closed shut,
never being able to tell what happened.
He saw the way it ended,
he saw her take her life.

He watched as she took the blade,
and slid it slowly across her wrist.
He watched her take her last breath,
her teddy bear saw it all.
