Un Worthy

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Feb 2, 2005

A small suitcase
Sits at the door
Her sad face
Eyes the blood on the floor

She stares
At photographs
Her best friend cares
They had so many laughs

But she brings tears
That aren't meant to be
So after all these years
She decides to set her free

Can't expect her friend
To carry the burden of care
Of a soul that won't mend
It's best she's not there

She's going to go far away
She doesn't know where
She just knows she can’t stay
Can't expect her to always be there

She walks out the door
Brushing the tears from her face
Sighs at the blood on the floor
And picks up her suitcase.

She won't be a burden anymore.
