I'm sitting in my room
staring out the window
watchin the rain fall down
listening to the boom
as thunder strikes.
I'm thinkin the what ifs and whys
about my life
and how things have changed.
As i look out at the rainy skys
I sigh an uncontented sigh.
I'm dreamin the big dreams
of love and being with the one I love
of happiness and joy and good, tue friends.
and yet it seems
all I'm missing are those things.
I'm wishing
wistfully remembering happier times
angrily remembering sad, horrible,disgusting ones,
I'm swimming and fishing
but it seems all I catch results in despair.
