The Kiss

I stood there
Trying not to shriek
As I saw you kiss her
Gently on the cheek

That day killed my heart and soul
It killed my very last dream
Everything I had you stole
And from there I went downstream

I was ready to give my heart to you
But I saw you with her by your side
I stood frozen for a while, then I broke in two
Knowing the pain will never subside

I just have a couple words to say
Even though you love her so much
She knows nothing but foul play
Because you are now and forever in her clutch

    Awww Wow.. I didn't think this poem would turn out this way! -- I thought romantic but then I loved the poem anyways cuz of the emotion you put out!!! And I'm sry what happened to you, I can some what relate... I didn't see them kiss but I seen the happy joy in they're faces that just broke some parts of my heart!!! But just have to move on and be strong!! *Learn from the mistakes*
