My Blessing

Everyday I count my blessings one by one
I thank God for the moon,the stars,and the sun
I thank him for my family and my friends too
But most of all I thank him for allowing me to find you

You have brought a feeling of peace to my heart
Along with a desire to make a brand new start
I no longer fear what tomorrow may bring
With you in my life I can face most anything

Neither time nor distance will change the way I feel
For once in my life I have found something real
What have I done to deserve a gift such as this
Last night as I slept I swear I felt an Angel's kiss

Yes,now I can say that I've truly been blessed
After all this time I have found the very best....
