Keeping

I hate to see tomorrow
as our hearts will drift apart,
can't open my eyes
cause your setting free my heart,

can't sleep at night
cause you'll forget over time
you'll never remember
that you were once mine,

I dread the sun rise coming
as it comes to take you away,
memories and longing tears
is what I'll be left with everyday,

I hate seeing days drift by
cause they're days with out you,
I hate crying myself to sleep
but it's all I know to do,

I look back at the day
the day you broke my heart,
that dreaded day
our hearts drifted apart,

so I will keep you in my heart
my only memory of us being together,
I promise I'll be keeping you
forever and ever.
