All these broken people, letting their feelings out,
All of their emotions, what the silent shout,
So many lost souls, drifting for eternity and beyond,
They held their tongue but now they respond.
What they feel when there’s but fake smiles on their faces,
All in different towns, different countries, different places,
With the same lost, confused, sad, numb feelings,
All lying there, alone, blank, staring at their ceilings,
But here together, they all speak out, becoming real again,
Listening to each other’s words, helping with the pain.

When in the real world, they feel stuck behind glass,
Cannot reach their friends, family, and the ones who just pass,
They can break it, each little piece, let it all fall away,
Let it out, let it fall to the floor, and heal, day by day.
Stop hiding their problems, let those around finally see,
What they really feel and who they really want to be,
They may still be dead inside from what has happened in their life,
But at least they may find other ways of dealing with their strife,
And even one day break the habits, the ones that kill them more and more,
At least now they see that other people have too fallen to the floor.

I would just like to say thank you, to the poets and this site,
For making me live on, when nothing seemed alright,
If I hadn’t found it, who knows if I would be here today,
And thank you all those people, who commented and did say
What they thought of my emotions and the words I used to express,
Who have all helped me slowly and surely progress.
You all have so much talent, and its good the way you cope,
Using words to express, even giving others hope,
Keep writing away, do not ever feel someone can stop you,
Because only you can decide what you choose to do.
