They Left Together

by stephalee   Feb 4, 2005

As the blood pours off her hand
A stinging pain she no longer can stand
Over comes her and takes her in
At this rate she will never win

And the colors drains from her face
He sits at home and starts to pace
Thinking about her night and day
Knowing it shouldn’t be this way

As he sits at home and dreams of her
Her life is becoming a dizzy blur
She’s slipping in deep
For a long peaceful sleep

He tries to dream
But its so full its bursting at the seems
He walks away with his head down
Sporting the saddest frown

She dies that night
Bled to death because of fright
Now she’s gone
Its all done

As he heard the news he cried himself to sleep
Around the corner death began to creep
As he left them all
His body suffered a hard fall

Two funerals in one day
There’s nothing left to say
