She goes to school everyday,
With the biggest smile on her face,
They all thought her smile was fake,
To their eyes it was just paint,
But she knew something no one else would,
She knew she shouldn't, but felt she should,
No matter how many times they broke her down,
New courage was always found,
She always would take the leap,
Even though she didn't always land on her feet,
She believes in Prince Charming, and love at first sight,
When she saw him her heart would take flight,
The sound of his voice, made her melt inside,
Her feelings she could no longer hide,
So she went with the classic approach,
She wrote a lil “do you like me?†note,
In his locker it was dropped,
At the top, through the slot,
Wondering what was going through his head,
She watched from her locker as it was read,
Do you like me? Yes, no, maybe so?
I just wanted to let you know,
I liked you from the start,
When you spoke my name, you took my heart,
If you do we should go on a date,
My locker number is 88!
His face filled with a smile,
She had a feeling it was worth her while,
She saw him look at her,
Like he had never before,
She turned her face,
Her heart started to race,
A familiar voice came from behind
soft, gentle and always kind,
She turned around and looked in his eyes,
They were full of pure truth and no lies,
She sensed something she didn’t before,
Her heart all of a sudden started to soar,
He said, she had him from the start
Her every smile took his heart,
But he said there is one thing left to do,
Pick a place its up to you!!
Because she never gave up her hope, she got her prince,
And they have been happy ever since!!
