Love and Hate

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 4, 2005

Love walks around the garden
Hides in a bush; her best friend searches
Hate can’t compete with someone so skilled
She reveals herself and they walk together, hand in hand

They watch the lovers, watching the fools
The ones who’ll become her next toys for the next few days
Love follows them round, one step behind
She bides her time

She causes havoc with their hearts
As the strings are tied and they can’t get away
It is now that they fall, tumbling into watch others eyes
Love pushed them

But it is when Hate comes back to find his mate that the game begins
Jealous of the two dolls, demands a share
The string tightens; it starts to hurt
The rope tears, is ripped away, leaves them bare
It’s all part of her game

Love causes more hurt than Hate
Hate is always following, eager for play
Love ahead leading the way
Love causes more hurt than Hate

**Erm this is very unusual but and i think it should maybe in love poems but it isn't a romantic image. **
