Too Bad

by Unknown2Thyself   Feb 4, 2005

Promises you couldn't keep,
wounds of pain cut to deep.
My words thrown back in my face,
the hurt so deep I've lost my pace.
You strung me along all these years,
it's ashame I wasted all my tears.
Now I know what you really are,
I use to think of you as my shining star.

Too bad you couldn't understand me.
Too bad you couldn't be the one for me.
Too bad you couldn't keep me.

I'm walking away from all the hurt and pain,
I went out with you and I'm not even sure I was sane.
My mind wonders seeing all the haunting pictures,
It's ashame you had to screw around with all those b****es.
I can't believe I use to call myself smart,
I founded out dumb I was when I saw you with that tart.
The pain of your betrayal,
Is nothing like the way you treated me.
