My sonnet

by Megann   Feb 4, 2005

Some may say you are more beautiful than wine

Some may say you are the way and the light

Others may say you are truly devine

One can’t say whether they are wrong or right

If I was to say who I thought you were

I would find myself digging in the floor

I think your touch is softer than warm fur

And your smile I ask for more, more, more

As I look into your round deep blue eyes

I can see that you have such a future

I feel to scared to allow you to rise

Because my broken heart may never cure

So tell me now will we be together

Or will I have to wait till forever
