Holocaust.

While you are going about your business today,
I ask you to just think for a few moments.
About Hitlers scheme to destroy all Jews,
And the following events.

A man with a heart so black,
You could hardly call him human.
Cruelly slaughtered six million Jews,
Such a terrible wicked plan.

Pregnant women, toddlers and young children,
No Jew's life was spared.
And did the Nazis have no mercy?
No - not a single one of them cared.

Distressed parents were made to watch,
Their offspring perish before their eyes.
Babies were blown in two by the soldiers,
If one of them so much as gave a few cries.

The sick, the weak and the poorly,
All were treated the same -
Like pieces of dirt, that didn't matter,
To the Nazis It was just a game.

Crowds of Jews were gassed in the gas chambers,
Killed for no real reason at all.
Everyone was destroyed -
The adults, the old and the small.

Many of them were tortured,
Experimented on or beaten.
Some were died of hunger,
After weeks where they had not eaten.

All this went on inside the concentration camps,
This and much much more.
Its seems almost impossible that such awful things happened,
But they did - that we are sure.

So please I beg of you,
To put these poor souls in your prayers.
Let their poor spirits no.
That every one of us cares.

It was a terrible thing. A man who was in a concentration camp came into my school and talked about it, he said that the most important thing is that we do not let this happen again, and we must never forget what happened, we are the young people of this country and we must stop anything like this ever happening again. xxx
