Stars

by Sinister Soire   Feb 5, 2005

I gaze into the heavens
And wonder where they are
All the stars I see at night
They’re always just so far

What if I could hold one
Take it in my palm
Shrink the enormous size
To a marble just as calm

How many are there
That takes up a night sky
With so many wonders
Which make you want to fly

There are so many questions
About these things that are so big
What about the tiny things
Like a tiny little fig

What if a grain of sand
Held a galaxy times ten
Or the biggest question
Of all chicken or the hen

Such big things out there
Make all these things so small
I’m just a tiny speck
In the master piece of all

*sarah you are my star, my guardian angel*
