Unnamed

We ran to catch the morning dew
it was childhood, we lost our way.
hues of gold changed to papery grey
we lay frozen in her embrace
winter sang her forbidden lullaby
sacred verses from a far off place.
trapped in the ghettos of our minds
seasons changed,we slipped away...

cinnamon kiss of liquid sun
melt the tears frozen upon my lips
i whisper to you,but i am alone.
so hopelessly alone in my head.
the fading allure of my undulating world
dies with the morning rain
promises are made to be broken they say
always love the one you hate

we ran to catch the morning dew
it was childhood we lost our way.
we came back following animal trails
and realized, we were in love

good job.. gave you another 5,... im not quite sure if this is a truly happy one or if its a poem looking back on lost love that once was... because if it is the first i was going to put it in my book of poems... (giving you credit for it of course!) if you could, let me know a lil more about it... i wasnt the one who wrote it so i dont know what feelings you put into it... so post me soemthing under requests for ratings and comments... and refresh my memory of which one this is.. i have a horrible memmory... so yeah keep up the awesome talent!

lol why can;t u sit back , relax and try to flow with the poem instead of counting lines per stanza etc?? i think poems should be freed from such constraints and allowed any lenght.words per line etc
