My feelings for you

The 1st time I saw you, I couldn’t believe my eyes,
after all these years, I cant believe I didn\'t cry.
Yet I look back, at everything that I did in the past,
And I look at your eyes, and cant believe what I lost.
It was the day that I met you,
That I knew I’d never forget you.
And the trust that I could never regain,
the fact that I lost what I had through so much pain.
You don’t even know what you mean to me,
you’re basically my everything.
Not only are you my friend, you’re my best friend,
And to me, it’ll be that way till the end.
I can’t wait for the day, that I see your face again,
and be able to say, “I just wanna touch you, and feel the pouring rain.”
You can make me cry, and stick a needle in my eye,
but my feelings for you wont ever change,
so you’ll just have to manage.
