Some Of Your Time

Soaked again in salty tears
And falling on the floor
I’m blocking out these vicious thoughts
But it only brings some more

I thought I had so many friends
But it turns out I was wrong
And now I sit here all alone
I was foolish all along

Just because I had to give up school
Did it mean you couldn't care?
I guess you didn’t have to bother
When you saw I wasn't there

I know not many of you understood
But I tried hard to explain
Why my eyes were always red and sore
And why each day was the same

I guess you all pretended to listen
And that’s why you're never there
Because even when I wore deep scars
All you did was stare

And one by one you ceased to call
Even though I needed you bad
And whenever any of you saw me crying
You’d ask why I was so sad

Then there were only two or three
Those few I thought were true
Those few I thought would understand
And help me to pull through

I guess too many suicide attempts
Must have come at a price
Because now some don’t even reply to me
They don't even think twice

I look around and there’s so many people
Laughing and hugging their friends
Chatting, joking, having such fun
Falling out but making amends

And now I sit, like every other night
Crying alone online
Wishing that one of you would dare to speak
Or give me some of your time
