It was homecoming night
I did not think it could get better
The perfect date
The perfect dance and dinner

We slow danced to that song
And looked into each others eyes
You said those couple words
That filled my life

That night was so perfect
Holding each other tight
I was so happy
That smile was so bright

You came to my brother’s birthday
And my families house for thanksgiving
You put up with my weirdness
And never stopped loving me

You drove me to my brothers gave sight
Held me so tight when I cried
You took away my fears at the movies
When the bogyman came out at night

I did not think it could get better
After every time we were together
But it always seems to progress
Every time im with you im filled with happiness

After every night we go out
It always seems more perfect
Butterflies still flutter
After every kiss we take

And warm feelings overwhelm me
After every touch of your hand
When you look into my eyes
I can feel your love

So when I thought it could not get better
I stop to realize, and see
