JoyFul Pain

Others find joy
Someone else finds pain.
Why we were brought up to put others down,
We may never know.
Why we were brought up to keep our fears hidden,
We may never know.
All this has just lead others to destroy.
Disasters that no one can explain.
So many faces cluttered with a frown.
So many people are being hurt,
But they're scared to show the pain.
For someone else might find joy.
Putting it on high alert
Making sure the fears won't drain.
Then someone might be able to enjoy.
The pain that they have encountered.
The pain that makes it hard to live.
Lock yourself up
And hide the key.
Keep your thoughts a secret
Let no one in.
All hiding leads to is thoughts that aren't good.
So let yourself forgive.
And a new life may begin.
