Fear In A Shadow

Living in a shadow
It starts to get cold.
The tears are falling out,
Too hard to grab hold.

Too hard to find
The purpose to keep going.
Lost in my own mind
Pretty sure its showing.

Don't know what to do,
Can't see myself living.
Who knows if I'll make it through
I give all I'm giving.

Another day of hell
Awaits my arrival.
WIll it make me scream and yell
Or will I find new ways for my own surrival.

The clock ticks away
And I'm still here.
Waiting to be pounced on by prey
As I struggle for things to be clear.

I'll go through everyday
Living with every hit.
Facing all this dismay
Just because I'm scared to quit
