Hurry and Wait

Now I lay me down to sleep
If I should die before I awake
I pray that God will guide your ways

If I should live another day
I pray the Lord
My soul He’ll take

Not wanting to live
Another day; I keep
Feasting my eyes upon
Heaven’s golden gate

Oh Saint Peter
Please let me in
I pray to God
That my days hurry and end

Accept me now Lord
Before it’s to late
Please Father I ask
You take me from this hellish place
