Miss America (re-entered)

by Arlinda   Feb 7, 2005

Miss America where did you go?
your dream has been destroyed
The people who live on your soil,
Are the ones you should blame,
The people who claim you and your name.

Miss America your lands have been
poisoned like a battlefield, using
your soil for graves , so our sins may be
sealed, every day your America
is crying with some people glad to see
our nation is dying.

Miss America your land is not free,
every one is mistreated , especially
minorities like me, a fight for true justice,
is a part of this country, there is no more
slavery on your land; this is true
I'm not in chains but I am chained too.

Miss America on your land, my people
against there people, the melting pot has
boiled over spilling intoa place of violence
here on your land , a panacea is needed
to turn this rowdiness to silence.

Miss America your land must be
saved, in the eye of your nation
noticeable, nonsense is paved
everyday lies evil , a demon
in every American Soul, every face is
colored not with radiance and joy,
but with darkess and fear, Miss America, is
there a cure for America close or near?

Miss America as you see we need you
where did you go?
If you ever come back please let us know.
