I know how it feels to break down and cry
I know how it feels to want to die
I know how it feels when times are bad
I know how it feels to be lonely and sad
But still you ask about continuous self-harm
The tears on my face and the scars on my arm
Can’t you see its hurting me?
I try and stop and let myself free
But it’s who I am
Ill never change
Happy for a day
But ill cut again
Next time deeper, deeper than before
It takes all my problems but the pain I abhor
Yet I continue
I know that it’s wrong
But I swear ill change
It won’t take long
You no longer need me
You deserve so much better
So when you get back and you find this letter
You’ll know why I did it
