Wraithsome Mist

by FTS Miles   Feb 8, 2005

These mists vivisect reality,
constrain its intention,
its certainty and homogeneity,
confound and efficiently dissect
my intimacy of known
from the myopia of wanderers
and hollow figures suspended
in this obfuscative sea of
all consumptive pale.
For a moment I hold my own,
my assigned place within the
consentual bastion momentarily
suspended by this chilly veil,
but the freedom whispered
in these wraithsome wisps
curls softly bout my nether self.
Thus I infuse the blessing to
enshrine myself in shadow
and sublime to other.

I imagined in its beginning, "These mists vivisect reality," the picture of Lestat healing in that attic room, the sign of his unwell shined the helicoptor.
and after the line, "suspended by this chilly veil,
but the freedom" he would stand toward the window and look out, staring through his transparent reflection in the glass.

This piece was unbelievable, I need more!
