Just Another Day

by Ð맆îñ¥   Feb 8, 2005

Life in the fast lane
I’m too slow
I’m watching the world go past
I’m going the wrong but of that you know

You came one night
Wrapped in a coat of lies
You took me for a mug, a mug I mug I was
You drew me in with your eyes

I’m staring at the screen
I’m awaiting my mail
Another message from you never came
I’m waiting for my white knight to prevail

I can’t keep up with people today
They use you, abuse you, and take you for a fool
Send you on a goose chase and take you for a ride
And everyday we take it in our stride
