Sorry

She sits alone in the dark
Naked, bruised, abandoned
She sits alone in the dark

She breathes alone
Tries to find her voice
She wants to go home
She doesn’t have a choice

She looks at her body
Grazed, hurt, dirty
She looks at her body

She calls out
Waiting for help
She screams out

She knows what has happened
But feels to lost to say
She knows what has happened
And here, naked she lay

She hides in the shadows
Wanting no-one to see
She hides in the shadows
Waiting for me

How did I know?
What was going on?
How did I know?
What was going on?

I wanted to find her
Because I was scared
I couldn’t find her
It wasn’t at all fair

I looked around but still I could not find
That my sister was frightened, alone, scared
I looked around but still I could not find
That my sister was frightened, alone scared

I’m really sorry sis…..
