Where have you been
For the past two years
Why weren't you there
To catch all my tears

Just like you promised
Back in grade seven
When are lives
Seemed like a second heaven

When Life was perfect
Just you and me
No pain, No tears
No fright we could see

But then our lives changed
You got into drugs
No more friend to talk to
No more hugs

I see you everyday
But you never say hi
What happened to our friendship
It's not like we said good-bye

So I'm still waiting
For the day
When you come up
and start to say

That you miss me so much
That we can be friends
And this time you will be there
Until the end

I guess you didn't see it
Way back in the day
I liked you so much
And I still do today

I just thought you should know this
Cause I can't stand it no more
We were best friends
Ever since we were four

It just breaks my heart
To see the way you could be
Why did you leave
Why can't you love me?
