It Finally Snowed

A little while I walked to college
With a cold and winters breeze
The temperature burned against my cheek
My breath I was able to see

When I got into my lesson
My friend pulled back the blind
To my sight I was in awe
Nature had been so kind

It came across like a blizzard
So crisp, and white and fun
It looked so beautiful
I'm glad that snow had come

Although it did not stay very long
It would not settle to the ground
The floor was moist and dampened
My sadness was easily found

At least I know it will snow again
That my dream finally came true
Nature you have made me happy
And stopped me feeling blue
