Drunk Daddy

by BrookerBabii*   Feb 9, 2005

My dad is a drunk person
He never seems to see,
What he's doing to himself
While he's hurting me.

He's barely ever home
and always at a bar,
At least he's smart enough
To not drive home his car.

But still, what he's doing
Will mess him up someday,
I'm not sure how or when
But hopefully some way.

I hope some day he'll change
and not be how he is,
When it comes to my birthday
My only wish is this:

Please come home sober Daddy
and not highly intoxicated,
For years, months and days
I have wished and waited.

My wish still has not come to be true..
But please Daddy, it's up to you.
