O butterfly
butterfly of mine
why do u spend your time
trying to get down
when up in the heavens you should remain
why do you want to feel the ground
why do you play this little game
reality is not what you should seek
but the dreams of what still can be gained

butterfly
o butterfly
never should you want to cry
I want to see u smile in the star light sky
one drop of blood from you
is a sea of tears from me
my tears will never dry
until the day you see the sky

So butterfly
Butterfly so fine
when you see that dreams are what you find
I will smile until the end of time
cutting your wings will only bring you pain
so be a butterfly
fly to were you can gain
the happiness of freedom
from this worldly game

you will always be the butterfly in the sky
never to die
but to sleep with the dreams of the world
that keep us all alive

    hey i liked how you used the butterfly to represent what you were talking about. the butterfly has major symbolism. you are a great true author that i absolutely adore. keep rockin the poems. i know you are capable of it
