Your mark

by Jacob Perry   Feb 10, 2005

The scars on my arm
remind me of you
the marks left behind
not on my body but my mind
i know hes your god now
I'm just whats last week

i caused it you say
cutting away my dismay
you say its my fault
i look at your arm and see the results
you hate me for being you
for being where you've been

for the one i used to call my love
i shoot down the peace dove
this is war
prepare the troops
and fight to the finish
dead or not
on my mind you'll always be a blemish...

Nice . . . I enjoyed the rhyme scheme, it was different, original, and still very visible - I like your style :)
