Growin' Up

I'm not a little kid anymore can't you see

Why don't you just accept what a great young lady I'm growin up to be

Why don't you leave me alone at times and let me do things on my own

I don't need you to take care of me like you did when I was young

I know you guys love me this much I know, but you're gonna have to let the little girl inside of me go

You're worried about how my life is gonna be, but it turns out that you're more scared than me

I'm growin up now so just let me be the little girl I once was and the beautiful young lady I'm growin up to be
